Yellow Root - (Xanthorhiza simplicissima, Ranunculaceae) This is a very strong tincture, with dramatic results. It helps with nausea, morning sickness of pregnancy, vomiting, motion sickness and sour stomach and indigestion. This quiet little plant grows wild beside the creek, down the hill from our house. The intense yellow of its color is evident in the tincture. Usually one drop under the tongue is all that is needed. Repeat when & if you need it. A ½ oz. bottle will last you a very long time, so don’t bother with a whole ounce unless you are a midwife and will need that much over the years (or have a big family).
